American Sherry Walters in the year 2008 was diagnosed with a severe form of cancer, and because of that doctors had to remove part of the left side of the face, ear and thus to expand cancer with a surgery. To keep blood flowing through her ear so one day doctors can return to place, after complicated surgery, doctors incorporated it under the skin of her arm. As they said the plan is to return it back in place soon. Dr. Berns said: "My opinion is that the patient, whose ear is currently in her hand, will have normal ear as soon as it is formed properly."
